A dramatic reading of some of the finest poems in the English language, including Coleridge’s The Ancient Mariner and Wordsworth’s Idiot Boy with an introduction telling the extraordinary story of the intense creative friendship between Wordsworth and Coleridge. Andrew Bannerman is a writer, director and actor who has performed in theatres and literary festivals throughout the country and abroad. | Shropshire Youth Theatre - week of theatre/acting workshops. A mysterious map has been found in an attic in Shrewsbury and it looks like it might lead to buried treasure! Join Shrewsbury Youth Theatre instructor Cathie Woodbury to solve the meaning of the map. In one week we will create a play from beginning to end including costumes and lighting. This session will also include lessons on makeup and stage fighting. Register early as spaces are limited. 10am to 4pm. Ages 8 – 16. £75. |
