Welcome to the 2012 Shrewsbury Summer Season Guide which will feature events from April to September. Our listings will be published here from March onwards. Many of the events are free to attend and others are reasonably priced thanks to the support of our sponsors.

The arts scene is booming in Shrewsbury, in the face of the recession, as many people make time to pursue and develop their artistic interests, whatever yours is, we hope you will find something to tempt you here in our brand new guide.

There are many highlights including Shrewsbury Folk Festival over August Bank Holiday at the Showground; the Cartoon and Street Festival in the Town centre, and many more.
