Very exciting quick post here to announce our new great plan for a summer adventure in Shrewsbury – to cycle to North Wales!
We are accepting applicants now to come with us on this amazing 85 mile cycle ride.
It’s going to be a wonderful experience! It may well be hard, but there are plenty of activities in North Wales that we are really excited about, we’re going to go white water rafting! We’re going to go mountain biking! We might even surf and canoe and pedal board and kayak!
It is gong to be quite an incredible time for all of us. I know that its hard, I know that it will be difficult, I know that you will really, really struggle, but I’ve got some advice for you from a person who knows a thing or too about cycling really hard and never giving up and NEVER finding short cuts or cheats or anything!:
Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever. That surrender, even the smallest act of giving up, stays with me. So when I feel like quitting, I ask myself, which would I rather live with?”
